Eco Weedkiller uses a controlled flow of very hot water. The objective is to deliver enough thermal energy to damage the visible plant and carry heat below the surface, rather than simply scorching the leaf.

For the same stored thermal energy, liquid water occupies far less volume than steam or air. That allows a low-pressure stream to place a substantial, measurable heat load directly onto the weed and into the surrounding joint or growing medium.
